Ethical clothing, shoes & accessories at a great price? Yes, it exists! I’ve compiled a list of brands I’ve come to love over the years that I find have very reasonable price points. & as always, quality and style is not compromised!
warning.. you ain’t gonna find a $5 tee
Everlane
To be honest, I haven’t worn anything from this brand until very recently. I like to keep everything on my blog genuine, so knowing the product is super important. I decided to order a pair of jeans because I’m in need and the price was super reasonable. I think their line has every design to build the perfect capsule wardrobe - & the jeans have been pretty wonderful!
EcoVibe
An online shop I’ve gotten to know well over the past few years, EcoVibe is a boutique located in Portland, Oregon carrying several thoughtful brands, as well as their own private label. They are great for staying on trend, but always giving us the eco alternative. EcoVibe's collection focuses on conscious fabrics like modal, tencel and recycled fabric blends with timeless and comfortable designs for the modern woman.
Tonle
This brand makes zero-waste look so good. Every design from Tonle is made from dead stock fabric. Besides their great eco fashion practicies, Tonle believes in hand made and creating fair work for their Cambodian makers. Their site even breaks down the impact you’ve made from buying a piece of their clothing - like how much water you saved, as well as emissions and pesticides avoided.

Tamga Designs
Beautiful prints and lovely fabrics, Tamga is making ethical fashion fun and cheerful. I love how they break down how you save on resources by purchasing one of their pieces. For example, the Lia Kimono saves 12 liters of water, avoids 3kg of CO2 emissions and saves 2kWh of energy! Plus, the print is hand drawn by their print designer, and printed at their fabric mill using GOTS / Bluesign certified dyes.
organic basics
If you are looking for plain tees, activewear, socks and undies, this is your place! They even have a range for men so you can stock up for your man, as well. I love using their bras for nursing since they are so easy to slide off the shoulder. Very comfy!
kotn
I’ve already been making a list of items I want to try from Kotn. Their designs are timeless and made from some of the best cotton around - sustainable Egyptian cotton! They believe in fair and equal pay, careers not jobs, and, of course, safe working conditions. They even give back to children in the The Nile Delta. With every purchase, your orders help fund the build-out and operations of school infrastructure, salaries for teachers, laptops and so much more.
Thought Clothing
Based in the UK, this ethical brand considers their impact every step of the way. Besides the stunning aesthetic, Thought Clothing is one of my favorites because of their choice in fabrics. I'm a big textile nerd, and love that they use so many natural textiles. Some of them include; wool, organic cotton, tencel & hemp. They even use reborn polyester! I think my fellow textile lovers would appreciate their sustainable fabric choices.
krochet kids
This brand is trying to break the cycle of poverty by providing life-changing job opportunities to women in need. Each product is even signed by hand so you know exactly who made it! They have an incredible page dedicated to all the makers in order for you to learn more about them :)
ThredUp
One of the largest online consignment and thrift stores, ThredUp is making secondhand shopping fun and very inexpensive. They have thousands of ‘like-new’ styles from you to choose from with 90% off the estimated retail price. Each product is thoroughly examined to make sure it’s in great condition before reselling, and you will never see a counterfeit item in their designer section.
WAMA underwear
Because your underwear should be sustainable, too. WAMA uses one of the best fabrics when it comes to protection - hemp! Hemp is anti-bacterial, anti-microbial and has anti-odor properties. It’s also moisture wicking because of its porous nature making it breathable and comfortable. Also, the factories WAMA has partnered up with offer employees fair wages and quality working environments! Even the hemp/cotton blend used to make the underwear is GOTS certified.
LA Relaxed
Dana Weinstein, their very own #GIRLBOSS, created LA Relaxed out of a need for a clothing brand which didn't sacrifice quality for style, and always kept the environment in mind. She, also, knew the importance of supporting local workers and paying fair wages for a job well done. LA Relaxed is the brand to know, and I hope you fall in love with it as much as I have!!

Sustain by Kat
Sustain understands what we decide to wear impacts our health. Why not wear fabric that is actually beneficial to your health or at least safe? Plants seem to always be the right choice when wanting to make a product more natural and sustainable, and that's exactly the route Sustain went. This brand has great basics all made from organic cotton and dyed with natural dyes from plants like avocados, madder root, logwood tree and indigo {just to name a few}.
JJ Winks
This brand uses one of my favorite fabrics - Lenzing Modal. It’s a fabric, in my opinion, that offers the comfort cotton can’t while still being mindful of the planet and harvesting from sustainably grown Beech trees. I also always suggest this type of material to my friends who prefer not to wear silk - it has that smooth and sheen like appearance and it’s hard to find anything softer!
aid through trade
Their jewelry is all handmade by artisan women in Nepal. They are all given a fair wage and benefits in a safe and healthy work environment. Aid Through Trade is the creator of The Original Roll-On® Bracelets, which are one of my favorite styles because they don’t fly off my wrist and they are perfect for everyday wear. You can pretty much find any color combination your heart desires, AND they even have a few styles for the kiddos!
ABLE
I own a couple bags from this beautiful brand, but have been really wanting to try out some of their clothing. A few things are on my wish list, and I hope to add some pieces to my closet soon. FashionABLE believes in order to end poverty we must provide jobs for those lacking opportunity, particularly for women.
Encircled
The functionality & minimalistic design of Encircled garments make this brand one of the best for minimalist closets. Most of their garments can be worn more than one way. That means more versatility in a smaller closet. Not only are their clothes comfortable to wear, they are great for packing. You don't have to worry about wrinkling, and they don't take up too much space so you can pack light. Their choice of fabrics make garments last longer, too.
plume & thread
This affordable, ethical brand prides themselves on being made in the USA. Everything is produced within a 5-mile radius of their studio. I own their Sophia Striped Turtleneck, and it’s easily my favorite turtleneck I’ve ever worn! More colors, please :D

nobody’s child
This UK brand makes sure to partner with both local and international factories that ensure fair pay and safe working conditions. They are also big on eliminating textile waste so any leftovers are donated to fashion colleges in order to avoid the landfills. & I’m kind of obsessed with that skirt over there….
hope made
Founded on the principles of sustainability and fair work, HOPE Made wants to help preserve original craft, and support artisans & indigenous communities. Time and time again, people request more affordable prices when shopping sustainably. Every handbag found at HOPE Made is under $200! I’ve always been a fan of Colombian handbags. I love how many of the designs tell a story of their heritage. This adds a lot of character to such a usual, everyday fashion piece.
Soul Flower
With lots of hippy vibes, Soul Flower is a natural clothing brand for kind souls and free spirits. Their comfortable range features everything from dresses to leggings, and even some things for the guys and kiddos! Wearing one of their pieces will surely put a smile on your face :) p.s. their leggings are among my favorites if you are in the need for a new pair!
oka-b
These shoes are probably some of the most comfortable I own. Oka-B believes in closed-loop recycling to reduce the use of virgin material and to keep old shoes from becoming environmental waste. The average pair of Oka-B sandals made this year contain 15-25% recycled material. They have super cute designs and colors, and the prices are quite affordable!
Pact
Probably one of the most affordable organic brands, Pact has you covered on any basic piece you can think of. I love their lace undies and bras, and Travis has a ton of their tees. Everything washes well, and stays nice & soft. I’m constantly looking at this brand online to see what new basics they come out with!

This brand only works with factories holding the highest certifications in the industry and ensuring the best working conditions possible. These factories also take sustainability into account every step of the way. They have partnered with International Rescue Committee so not only are these clothes treading lightly on our planet, but they are helping strengthen communities all over the world.
Kestan
Effortless clothing for the spirited woman, Kestan is an ethical brand run by a brother and sister duo. They believe in mindful clothing, and building a collection for a thoughtful lifestyle. Designs are made with sustainable fabrics such as organic cotton and tencel, and the people who make the clothing matter. Therefore, they are paid a fair wage and work within a safe & clean environment free of discrimination.
face a la mer
Facε à La Mεr has teamed up with EarthPositive to produce all of their tees. They also have a strong code of ethics for their workers, and are members of the Fair Wear Foundation. Overall, with their GOTS Organic fabric and manufacturing process, they have reduced their carbon footprint by 90%.Facε à La Mεr was started by Gordon Fava, a scuba diver who is passionate about the state of our oceans. He decided to partner up with Project Aware, a global force of scuba divers who have been protecting our oceans for over 25 years.
