With common products that can be found around your house and 3 simple methods, you can now feel at ease because your favorite shirt can be saved. Just remember to test any of these methods out first before you do it on the shirt itself so that your shirt wouldn’t be ruined in case it doesn’t work for you.
Materials:
- Laundry liquid detergent
- Baking soda
- Lemon
- Toothpaste
- Hairspray
- Hand sanitizer
- Cotton
- Old toothbrush
Directions:
Step 1
The first method you can try is to mix together a bit of laundry detergent, baking soda, lemon juice, and toothpaste to create a paste solution. Once the solution is ready, apply it to the ink-stained area, then start scrubbing it away. Repeat the application and scrubbing as needed until the ink is barely noticeable to completely gone, then wash the fabric as usual.
Step 2
If you have hairspray available in your home, then you might want to consider using it to remove ink from your clothes. Spray a little bit on the ink-stained area, then blot it with some cotton, and let it absorb the ink. Repeat application and changing cotton as needed until the ink is barely noticeable to completely gone, then wash the fabric as usual.
Step 3
Now, if by chance you don’t have any of the materials mentioned above but somehow got ahold of a hand sanitizer, it might just work for you. Squeeze some onto the ink-stained area, then grab a piece of cotton, and blot the ink until absorbed. Repeat application and changing cotton as needed until the ink is barely noticeable to completely gone, then wash the fabric as usual.
