Oh, the hot, hot weather is here for the summer now! Yes, it’s in the upper 90’s every day now for us, folks. :-(
How do I stay cool in these grueling Texas summers? With white linen loose-fitting tunics and shirts. I’ve been staying in a lot, of course, not spending money on much of anything, let alone clothes. But I got an urge to find a few new white linen pieces last week and once I did, the white linen floodgates opened. :-)
You know there is no better way to lighten up an interior and make it feel fresh for summer than to add some white linen in the room. Slipcovers, pillows, throws, curtains, bedding…..white linen makes everything feel fresh.

A year or so ago I purchased this white linen duvet cover and shams for my bed from a maker on Etsy.
I really love it and it still looks great. I’ve had white bedding for a long time, but this is the first time I’ve had white linen. It’s a washable linen and it has held up better than my cotton duvet covers used to.

Sadly, I can’t seem to find this maker on Etsy today. It was about 2 years ago when I purchased my bedding.

Does linen wrinkle? Well, YES. However, it’s super comfortable and cool and I decided a long time ago, I don’t mind a few wrinkles.
